Mi se intampla din cand in cand sa am o revelatie, hai sa-i zicem obsesie - atunci cand descopar o formatie sau un cantec nou pe care il ascult day in and day out till a shiny new toy comes in. Interesanta comparatie: asa era si back in the days cand toti prietenii mei aveau o jucarie preferata; nu si eu: totdeauna jucaria mea preferata era cea mai noua dintre ele. Se pare k lucrurile nu s-au schimbat prea mult de atunci; sunt la fel de inconstanta fie k e vorba de muzica, preferinte sau oameni. Dar sa nu uit de la ce am plecat: drumroll please...and the winner is...30 Seconds to Mars...uh-huh

Pe baieti'i stiam de mai demult. De pe primul lor album imi placuse doar primul track - Capricorn. Tin minte cand i-am descoperit k il recunoscusem pe Jared Leto (asa blond cum era) si k gandeam ceva de genul "oh great, another actor turned singer - the reason why ear-plugs were invented". Dar surpriza - baiatul deschide gura: So I run, hide and tear myself up/ I'll start again with brand new name, and he actually doesn't sucks, and even more he's not half bad. Uitasem de ei de ceva timp cand zilele trecute am dat peste cel de-al doilea album al lor: sound-ul e ceva mai matur si se poate recunoaste o schimbare evidenta, aproape toate piesele avand potential. Bineinteles k sunt cateva care imi plac mai mult: Attack (my favourite), The Kill si From Yesterday.

I-am auzit "performand" si live, iar Leto se descurca onorabil. Stiu k nu are o reputatie prea buna mai ales because of all that echelon, emo crapp, dar a nu se confunda 30StM cu JL  who has quite a temper, or likes to pull once in a while a diva act (I'm not looking for excuses but maby he had a bad hair day or his panties were too tight, wht do I know?!), care ca sa fim sincer isi permite, doar he's supposed to be a bad ass rocker not a scoutgirl selling cookies. Oricum trebuie sa recunoastem k bad boys r hottt, iar Leto e buuun, not in a "Jared I want to have your babies" kind of way (though that too and I wouldn't actually mind it at this point), ci ca in "chiar canta bine" si chiar dak nu ai aprecia genul muzical pe care ei il reprezinta ar trebui sa recunosti asta.
